Frontier Co-op® Hibiscus Flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) are hand picked and sun dried for natural red color and fruity flavor. The tropical plant is used to make a wellness tea, as an ingredient in cosmetics and as a natural dye. The beautiful, deep red and purplish-hued dried flowers lend an attractive red color to teas that have it as an ingredient.

Directions

To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Suggested Uses

Make a hot or cold tea, alone or blended with other herbs. Also try it mixed with a juice (such as cranberry), lemonade or sparkling water for a refreshing spritzer. Add to potpourris and decorative jars for gorgeous, deep color.
