Psyllium, also known as blonde psyllium, is a low-growing herb native to Iran, Pakistan and India. It is the main ingredient in the commercial dietary supplements "Metamucil" and "Citrucel." Psyllium is most commonly known and used for its high mucilage content. Frontier Co-op® Organic Psyllium Husk Powder works well for baking, encapsulating and making herbal preparations. Our organic bulk psyllium husk powder is non-irradiated.

Directions

Mix 2 tsp. of Psyllium with at least 8 oz. (a full glass) of water or other fluid. Taking this product without enough fluid may cause choking. See warning.
