Its bittersweet taste makes it a flexible ingredient for many hot beverages and dishes. Our farmers dry the roots of valerian to draw out its strong and distinct aroma.

Directions

To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Suggested Uses
